The item is advertised as a Fairgate French Curve. However, I received another company's product a "Vary Form Curve Rule" from Kearing. Positives are it seems to be metal, but negatives are that the lettering and measuring tick marks are already wearing away.

I am not sure why another reviewer said it was smaller than pictured. The item is exactly what the seller said it is. I bought the item to make the Colette Meringue skirt. Truth be told, I also needed the ruler to grade patterns. As much as I wish I was exactly the same size as commercial patterns, alas it is not meant to be. I anticipate using this ruler quite a bit.

In the picture your being show a 32" ruler, but in the description it's only 12"... The seller must change it....
