This product is a highly concentrated form of watercolor. No messy cakes or tubes to worry about. I bought the 1oz version to "try" for the most part i was satisfied with the 1oz. version i purchased this 8oz set for my classroom for the fall. I like the fact that I can just pour the watercolor into my palette and experiment. I was able to dilute the concentration and make the watercolor go even further. I did some washes just to test the color and I have to say that I was impressed with how much water I had to add in order to get a soft light blue. This product goes the distance and would be ideal for someone trying to get a lot of "life" of the product. It's definitely worth the money. IMO this would be a great product for children. I was disappointed that that black was not a true black. It appeared grayish brown. Also the seal on the green must have been faulty because it had leaked and dried all over the cardboard box it came it. It was already dry and I still had an almost full bottle of green watercolor so it wasn't a big deal. Good thing this product is WASHABLE. I was able to wipe off the other bottles so they weren't all green.

This paint is vibrant, beautiful, easy to work with and so fun to play with. Clean up is a breeze. It's great for mixed media.

I ordered 2 sets, and both of them came leaking in the box. The caps do not have a tight seal so they leak also when poured.the paint is great, just needs better packaging.

The colors are vibrant. Now I am trying to find jars and eye dropers to use with this paint. The worst part about this product was the mess when it arrived. Many of the bottles had popped open leaving a sticky wet dye your hands mess.
