I am new to the world of sketching, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these colored pencils. While I'm certainly no expert, I think these would make any new or intermediate level artist very happy. The colors go on very smoothly and have a nice, rich texture. They erase and layer well, which is always a plus. More color choices might be nice, and in the future I will probably order a larger set, but for now these are definitely adequate for what I need. Great quality, competitive price. What more can you ask for?

I wish Fantasia had open stock. These are brilliant pencils with full color application, fine blending and they don't break, even with the worst sharpeners.
