Love this product! Introduced to it from art instructor. Not like other charcoals I have used. The chalky feel flows much better and smoother than the waxy charcoals I've used in the past for class.

I'd never used charcoal before, so I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome it is. Unfortunately, I can't compare it to any other product, but I like Char-Kole so much, I probably won't be using anything else.

They're soft, REALLY dark and quite easier to wash out after use in compare to the Blick charcoal I used to have. I can barely wash my hands without soap! Great quality and It did arrive at my place (NY) super fast, within 2 days on time!

Product of course is wonderful for work that requires alot of blending. But it wasn't given the proper care when being shipped. So broken pieces of charcole were scattered everywhere in the box (no longer in its packaging).
