These dye inks are the product to use if you want to add transparent color to melted clear UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel) or to melted beeswax. You can add a little or a lot depending upon the intensity of color you want...but the color stays transparent. For opaque colors, you can either add a bit of white UTEE into the mix OR you can use the varieties of colored UTEE that are available. I usually use the dye inks because I find the UTEE colors to be a bit limited; although they do have several nice metallic shades. The dye inks will sizzle a bit when you put them into the hot UTEE in your melt pot but just stir them up and they'll be fine. I would generally buy this sort of stuff at my local craft store using one of their 40-50% discount coupons, but they haven't carried it in our location yet.

the product has brilliant as well as lighter colors . I would recommend the product to any one who has a melting pot .
