I love my Folk Art paint, but this isn't really a paint. It's more like a watery PVA glue that's just loaded with glitter. That's not a bad thing. It takes a few coats for really good coverage, but the coverage is very even and very glittery without the mess of loose glitter. It's only very lightly pigmented so a thin coat will show the color or surface under it,a thin coat over an acrylic color adds a nice bit of sparkle.
It works best on porous surfaces that pva glues work well on, like wood and paper. If you're using it on paper apply in thin coats and let dry between coats. On more rigid surfaces like Woodsies, a thicker coat, let set for 20 minutes then another coat works well for me.
Like glue, if you get it on your skin, you can just let it dry then peel it right off, and it also peels off non-porous surfaces.
If you like glitter but don't like the mess it makes, this is a good alternative. It's also a great product to use with teens and children because there isn't the waste that can make glitter crafts expensive.

I bought this product on a whim, not really certain what I would use it for, and now I use it all the time in my fiber art pieces. I use by thinning it with water and applying a thin even coating of super transparent sparkliness to areas of my work, and once it's thinned a little bit it coats extremely evenly and makes whatever is underneath it look beautiful. I do not necessarily recommend this product for a cloth application that will be washed, but for my work it is perfect.
