After looking everywhere else I decided to try Amazon(probably where I should have looked first) and was pleased to find 2 results for my search. One of the fittings had some reviews (including some negative ones) and this one didn't have any. It was half the price so I decided to be the guinea pig and ordered it. It arrived a few days ago and I just had the opportunity to get my airbrush out this morning and try it out. First let me say that many of you will be happy to hear that it works great. It doesn't leak at all as far as I can tell. I didn't put it under water or anything but the connection is silent and I couldn't hear or feel any leakage coming from the threads on either side or the fitting itself. I used thread wrap on one side and left the other side bare just to see if it was necessary for an air tight connection. The connections on both sides were just as air tight so I don't think it's even necessary to wrap the threads when installing the fitting.
As far s comparing it to the other fitting available on Amazon I can't comment. However in my opinion for almost half the price for a product that I know now actually works, there really is no need to be undecided as to which to buy. Save yourself some money and pick this fitting up for your airbrush!
Disclaimer: Please make sure that your airbrush actually uses an 1/8" thread size. Some brands use a metric/semi-proprietary sizing in order to get you to buy only their accessories. If you purchase a 1/8" coupling you will notice the pieces will screw together but will not fit securely and will not be air tight.... then you'll probably leave misinformed and unjustified negative reviews on a product that wasn't designed to use with your particular airbrush. As with anything, just make sure you do your research and educate yourself before you make your purchase and it will save you many headaches.

This is a must have if you're into air brush. I hear ppl talk about leak. What do a plumber do when he attach 2 pipe together. he add Plumbing tape. It cost about $1.00 in any dollar store. when I bought my compressor it came with it. you're suppose to used it when you install the regulator..SO USE IT TO INSTALL THE QUICK RELEASE AND It'll STOP ALL LEAK. ANYWAY UR SUPPOSED TO DO THIS WHEN ATTACHING 2 PIPE WITH THREAD...
