As always with Bucilla, the instructions are clear if you read carefully, there is ample sewing supplies, and the designs are interesting and detailed to sew. For some reason, the heart ornaments in this set are a bit basic and boring, in contrast to the detailed gift box and Raggedy Ann doll. You could always embellish the heart ornaments yourself with the extra supplies, but nonetheless it feels a bit phoned in on the design. If you have someone just learning to sew it might be a good first project. In contrast, the Raggedy Ann dolls are quite detailed and a bit more interesting to look at and to sew.
I do wish that more of Bucilla's designs would have six different ornaments rather than two sets of the same three ornaments. It would be nice to have a Raggedy Andy to go with. But overall, a nice project to make for yourself or give away to a Raggedy Ann fan for the holidays.
