What i love about the chalk inks, is that they are so versatile and you can use them on any surface ( paper, chipboard, ribbon, lace, fabric, wood, vellum, canvas). You can use them on most any project and scrapbook embellishment as they are permanent when dry. I enjoy using them on the newest embellishments in the industry, wood. So many cute wood embellies out, that just a quick swipe of the curved chalk ink pad and you have your own perfect matching embellishment for all your crafty projects.

I LOVE these chalk inks and find myself using them on everything I craft now. They are not just for stamping, but can be used to add shading to the edges of your papers. I have even used them with an H20 brush to color in a stamped image.

I used these little ink pads on almost every single project that I make. I have the original set as well as the new bright colors.

They are not the typical tiny little chalk ink pads but are much bigger and easier to hold. The plastic case that holds the pad has a groove at the back where you can place your thumb and grip the sides when you are working with the ink. I have purchased competitor ink pads before discovering these and they were too small and awkward to hold. I also had issues with the competitor pads coming off of the holder and once that happened, they would have to go in the trash. I have had a set of the Powderpuff inks for over 3 years and I have never had an issue with it coming loose from the holder.

When I apply the chalk ink, I rub the pad directly against my paper and it glides on really smooth. The color is amazing. If you want it darker, then simply apply more and it goes on just as smooth as the first time. The process is quick since you can rub the pad directly against the paper, so I spend more time creating that fiddling with a method to get the ink onto my paper. I also love the variety of colors because I can always find one to match the project I'm working on!

I also use these to add color to things like bare chipboard, flowers, canvas and vellum. You can either ink just the edges or ink the entire piece. All I can say is don't be afraid to use these pads on everything because they hold a ton of ink! Most of the chalk inks that I have used in the past are 1/2 or even a 1/4 of the size of the PowderPuff Inks and they simply do not last very long. I do a lot of scrapbooking and card making and the PowerPuff inks last for a very long time. I have not had any issues with the pads drying out either.

I simply cannot say enough about how amazing and how much I love these chalk inks. They have made my projects look so much better and they are so easy to work with.

If you haven't tried the PowderPuff Chalk Inks you are in for a treat! They are such a great value, the pad size is substantial and they are designed with the user in mind. There is a curved bottom notch for your thumb to hold them comfortably.

You can stamp with them, ink edges of your projects and they especially shine when applied to canvas, wood or chipboard. The coverage is fantastic! They are like potato chips, you can't have just one!!!
