I purchased these for my son at Christmas to go along with his easel and paper. I was expecting something a little less messy since it's "all-in-one". First of all, the bristles are really thick and when you squeeze the "brush", the paints wants to ooze out the sides. These are absolutely HORRIBLE if your child is going to be using them with an easel. My son (who is 5), made an absolute mess in the floor trying to squeeze the paint out... it dripped all over and the bristles would not stay covered (because they're SO BIG). You're better off to get regular paint brushes and some regular finger paint containers. At least that way, they'll have paint on the brush and much less in the floor!

I bought these for Christmas my granddaughters ages 4 years old and 16 months old and they really like using them and their mom likes that there is very little mess.

I guess I'll keep these paints for awhile. They were not the best for my grandson who is 2 1/2.
