I wanted some bright, diverse colors to add to my pastel collection for more colorful paintings and this set fit the bill. My pastel collection is pretty mixed, mostly Sennelier and Unison with darks by Ludwig and select highlights from Schmincke. These Mt. Vision colors are bright, reminiscent of a Neiman oil painting! I don't understand the previous reviewer's comment about these pastels being "unbending". I don't expect my pastels to bend, but these are generally soft, a bit less so than Schmincke or Unison, but nowhere near the "hard" pastel types and very good inbetween balance.

Incredible pigment. I have gone through many different brands of pastels and these are one of my favourites. I do love Rembrandt and Sennelier but these are just fantastic. Plus they are also much cheaper than the named brands. This is quite the catch

These Pastels are AMAZING, they blend wonderfully and there are so many shades and tints available! I can tell that they are individually crafted with care. Mount Vision Pastels doesn't have that film like layer around them that usually is off color or waxy. Every mark, even strait out of the box, is true to the color I am expecting. Thanks for putting so much care into creating such a wonderful product for those of us who use pastels to enjoy. Do you happen to make any other mediums?
