There's only one thing I didn't like about this art kit and that's the lid. It doesn't snap shut in any way and so it opens very easily. Not too good for when you're on the go. But otherwise it's a good kit at a great price and I appreciate the ability to carry around everything in it's tin. Keeps things very neat and organized!
I'd recommend this as a great gift to get someone started in painting. It comes with everything you would need as a beginner artist. Just add a water cup and a paper towel and you're ready to go!

I was expecting good quality, having read the other reviews but I was still surprised by just how good it was. It even came with 3 small canvases, very unexpected! I have no regrets about this purchase.

As a novice painter in her 20s who wanted to pick up a new hobby, I found this to be a great little starter kit. You can make a huge array of colours with the selection provided, and the brushes that come with it are decent (I don't really like one of them, the flattish one, but that's probably just because I don't know how to use it yet). The only real disappointment I had was that the cap for the red won't tighten all the way it just keeps turning and turning without end but it's not a huge problem, as it's still tight enough that the paint hasn't dried out.

This art set is a good product for any one who wants to learn how to use acrylics. The price is great for all the things that are included. The only reason why this is only getting four stars is due to white paint not being very opaque, having a good white is important for any artist.
