These average size needles work well and last. Plastic needles can break. Wood needles are fine once you get all the roughness wore off. Aluminum needles don't snag the yarn and don't break or splinter.I have been looking for crochet needles like these for awhile. Haven't been able to find any with this kind of tip in any department stores, so I thank you for advertising these on Amazon.
