I kept going between a 4 and a 5 for this product, but ultimately decided on the 5 because I think my complaints are probably personal taste rather than the fault of the product. It cuts beautifully, and I used it with the gear die cut set, so I got a really nice assortment of metal gears. All the sheets are one of six colors on the front, and silver on the back. There's one sheet that is a sort of creamy color that doesn't seem to be all that metallic -more like a facsimile of enamel-covered metal. I would have preferred that simply be silver on both sides, but that's the personal taste thing. I would have also like the sheets to be either little bit bigger or a little bit smaller -the current size left a fair bit of waste, but not enough room to run through a second time and get an additional gear. Since I don't have a lot of other dies, I can't say if that would be a complaint with other die sets -maybe it fits perfectly. The sheets are very well packaged, with tissue in between each, so it's easy to find the color you want and separate it from the pack. Also, since the Spellbinder machine embosses as well as cuts, you can run the pieces a second time to add fine details. The foil embosses with perfect, crisp edges on the imprints. Some of the sheets arrived slighly bent or creased, but the creases seemed to work themselves out in the cutting. Keep in mind this is heavy foil. It won't be a stiff piece of metal, but rather something that will hold it's shape if help flat, but bends with slight pressure. I will definitely buy more for the colors (but will try heavy duty cooking foil if I just want silver.)

If you like Mixed Media art and enjoy using metal these foils are fabulous. I have found so many great uses for them. They take alcohol inks beautifully and embossing works like a charm.
