Good: Decent tool steel. Effortlessly marks brass and aluminum keys. Haven't tried steel yet, but I'm confident they'll work well.
Bad: A couple of small rust spots; don't affect usage, but do make me wonder whether a seldom-used tool set is going to rust in the box.
Ugly: The wooden box is cute, but very flimsy the metal latch broke the first time I opened it and does not secure the punches at all. Once you've reorganized the set they'll all be in the bottom of the box when you receive it don't even think about turning the box upside down. I'd much rather have had a blow-molded case.
Five stars, minus one for the low-quality box.

As a crafter, I didn't want to spend a fortune on a punch set but I DID want them to work well. These are perfect. As other reviewers have mentioned, the set arrives with the punches all a-jumble, but it's easy to put them in the slots and the case is ideal for keeping them organized. I flattened silver spoons and put plant names on them for garden markers and these punches were easy to line up and made a nice impression,
