I bought this same roller from Michaels, and it broke less than a quarter into my project. The elbow where the handle meets the roller snapped. Could be that my particular roller was faulty, but I'd buy a less expensive or metal roller.

Flimsy garbage that doesn't roll well. You would be better off going to your local hobby/craft store to pick out a better quality roller

These works just like they're described. I use them to coat canvas in paint for canvas prints, and they put on a very smooth rolled surface of paint. The box works like a paint holder as well, so you can coat the brushes evenly. Love it.

I actually used this product to apply a liquid gasket material in a car engine. Worked great for that! I'm sure it would be great for trim in houses or other projects also.
