Bought a cardboard house for 1/2 the price of this product at the Christmas Tree Store. Kids loved playing inside the house which had a roof and windows. I think they liked being in an enclosed space that they could go in and out of. They also spent a lot of time decorating the house. When that fell apart, I bought this product on Amazon. Kids did not seemed to be as engaged with this product. I think it is because this product does not have a roof. The towers on the corners did not stay upright as well as depicted on the cover of the box.

I bought this for just my 4 year old's birthday so that the kids could have yet another area to play. All afternoon the kids would come back to color, it was a hit with all the children and I would not be surprised to see more at future parties. I also bought my little one the doll house as a present and she thinks it is just the best.
