the photo shows metal tip that hold the blades Not what you get they are plastic and dont hold the blades. The case didnt come in in the plastic they show in the picture just the blade holding box that was broken and you could tell that this set had been used. most of the blades were damaged either before shipping or durning and they were covered in glue. I threw this set right in the garbage. if cheap, useless is what your looking for then this is a great set however if like me your looking for a decent set with metal handles and tips look elsewhere

These are incredibly cheaply made. The box broke the first time that I opened it. The blades bend and/or break very easily. I wish that I would have spent more money and gotten a better set.

I am very pleased with this set it comes with exactely the same things you wood get in the exacto kit minus the wooden case . Honestly I cant really tell much of a diffrence between this set and my exacto set except I saved 20 bucks.

Now you will have to order more blades since the kit only comes with one blade in each size , but you would have had to do that regardless and the handles do accomodate exacto blades so its really a win /win.

OK I gotta admit I was a bit blind when I got the set , I was so pleased by how it looked and the price that I missed the old adage you get what you pay for . The blades that come with the set are extremely thin I didnt realize just how thin till i started to use them . I am only cutting through regular foam board and corrugated cardboard to make dioramas and these blades bend with the pressure you need to apply to get through the paper leaving a diagonal cut instead of the straight cut you should get . So if your just cutting paper or neeeded some extra handles ok this is it but if your doing any kind of hobby that requires precise straight cuts these are not for you .

I dont blame the seller they gave me exactley what I paid for .

The item arrived very quickly. Although this kit is a low cost item, it's MUCH better than some of the other sets I've purchased. What I LOVE about this kit is the handle tips are METAL, not plastic. These tips hold the blades firmly in place, there is NO tilting/movement of the blade. Also, the quality of these blades seem to be slightly better than the kits with the (useless) plastic tips. They don't rust as quickly and they're stronger. This is a great buy for the price. you may want to buy a few kits because it's cheaper than buying the replacement blades. Overall, I'm very please with my purchase.

I was not very happy with this set. The blades would not stay screwed into the one of the handles and kept falling out; the screw part of the blade wouldn't tighten all the way, so it was unreliable.
