I loved the look of this stocking when I first saw it and it looks even better when finished. Like all Bucilla products this is not for the novice and is very time consuming. After doing around ten of these kits I found this one to take a little less time than others I had completed in the past (maybe due to the large snowman that dominates the whole middle of the stocking). Directions were very thorough and everything you need to complete the stocking, minus the stuffing is here for you to use. When I'm done with the front of these stockings I use an iron on fabric adhesive (Wonder Under) to apply another layer of fabric over my stitching, both to hide the stitching and to prevent it from being torn out when placing items in the stocking. Some of the details were very labor intensive-candy canes, the scarf, etc. and overall it took me around 40 hours to complete it. If you're looking for an instant product these stockings are not for you, if you're looking for something that will turn into an heirloom then these are the stocking kits for you. The vibrant colors and eye catching details are something your loved ones will cherish for years to come.

I must say that the stocking turns out great and will last a very long time. It isn't that hard to make, it just takes forever. Buy these with plenty of time to spare, unless you have nothing else to do. There are a lot of small intricate pieces to add to make it look as good as it does. This is not something you can do for a nice quick project. With all that said, they are beautiful when done.

The stocking is just darling. i personally changed some of the candy colors for a better variety but once again bucilla knocked it out of the park with there candy snowman
