I bought this foot because my walking foot was on the fritz. I make and sell cloth diapers, and a walking foot is (or so I thought) integral to sewing with the waterproof PUL fabric I use for the outer part of the diaper. This teflon foot is 100% better than the walking foot, even when it was working properly. The fabric slides through evenly, yet you have very good control. I have a Brother CS-6000i, and this foot snaps right on to the low-shank. No matter what position the needle is in, it doesn't hit the foot at all. It will save me time, too, because I can use it for the construction of the whole diaper instead of switching between my regular foot and walking foot. This is a great product and for an excellent price.

My sewing project used an 18-gauge vinyl and when I started sewing, it was really hard because the vinyl was sticking even if I have put tissue paper on the sewing board and on top of the material. When I got this through prime shipping, it made my sewing a lot easier and I do not have to cover my vinyl with tissue paper. This also perfectly fits my Brother CS6000i. Great help for a newbie in the sewing field!

I love this foot! Price is reasonable and fabrics such as oilcloth and PUL (polyurethane laminate) slide smoothly underneath without sticking. Snaps right into my Brother machine with no difficulty. Very happy with this purchase!
