I use Mungyo oil pastels as my workhorse brand and finish off my work with Holbein/Caran D'Ache/Sennelier. The Mungyo are an excellent value. They are definitely artist grade with an excellent color selection and the price cannot be beat. I absolutely recommend these whether you're on a budget or not. It would be silly to spend more when you don't have to.

These oil pastels are an amazing bargain. The quality is similar to brands that are much more expensive.I own several different brands of oil pastels and these are my favorite.

I think they are a very nice quality. Wonderful color selection. They deserve the nice wooden case they are packaged in!
