I bought this set to paint my new squad of 40K Chaos Marines and I am very happy. I also bought 4 of the citadel paint pots , and the quality seems almost identical, I say almost because citadel paint seems a little better. I am not an expert painter so there won't be much difference for me, so I think for the price it is a great steal. The color sets in a little darker than what it will look like in the pot, and that's is perfect for my CSM minis.

These paints are too watery for even acrylic paints. It takes about four times as much paint as compared to other brands I've used. I'm using them on canvas, so perhaps there are better uses, but I would not recommend this product.

I've painted a few plastic miniatures for the game "Defenders of the Realm" with these paints, and it is working great so far. The paints mix well, and cleaning the brushes with water works great.

I bought this to use in my paint by number kitsto add different colors, mix with the paints included in the kit. The colors are greatdifferent shades of each color that coordinate with each other. The pots are small, but are filled. Good consistency. There are also 6 larger pots of more common colorsblack, white, red, green, blue and purple. Good starter set for smaller projects. For large projects I would suggest getting the 2 oz sizes.
