I'm just getting into stamping and card making for my Etsy store, so I was trying to avoid spending a lot of money on start-up, but wanted to get the best value for my money. These blocks are quite thin. Some are worried that they blocks might break. My biggest problem is that it's hard to get a good grip on the edges because they are so thin, and I almost always getting my fingers inked up. Not such a big deal, unless you're making cards and end up getting inky fingerprints all over the cardstock. If I keep doing this long term, I'll invest in some more substantial blocks, but these are good for newbies.

I really appreciate the various sizes and have used them with success. I will admit I was surprised at how thin they were but probably just missed that part in the various dimensions listed. Only concern would be putting too much pressure on one which is not filled up by the stamp and snapping the block. So far so good.

These are the only blocks I use. Before I purchased a set of blocks, I tested a few with friends and at Archiver's. The size range that comes in this set is great. The blocks are thick enough to be travel to crops, but no so thick that they are difficult to handle. The grid lines are easy to see and I find very useful. I would recommend this product. It would be a great gift to any new stamper.

These are the very thin blocks -about 1/8 inch thick. I didn't realize it when I purchased them. I suppose it was my own fault. I read the size of the shipping package as 1/2 inch thick and thought it said that was the thickness of the blocks. The description provided no information regarding the sizes of the blocks -I figured out the lengths and widths from the picture, but not the thickness. I don't like them because it is hard to hold onto them for stamping and to lift them off without smearing the ink or touching the paper with your fingers. I'll pay more attention next time.

This was the best option I could find when selecting a set that covered all my stamp sizes/dimensions. My only negative remark is in regards to the thickness of the blocks. They are thin and I often dip my fingertips into the ink. If they were just a tad thicker I would have rated this product with five stars.
