The tape makers seem to work OK. I've never tried another brand so don't have anything to which to compare it. Don't buy this product for the tin; the flimsy plastic window had fallen off during shipping! I glued it back onto the tin with a hot glue gun, but now it certainly isn't "decorative."

bias tape made easy without your finger getting to close ...works great If you have ever bought bias tape you know it can be costly with this use scrap pieces of fabric you would have maybe thrown out and this item might pay for it self mine already has..
