We got this as an activity for our 4 year old's birthday party. The first bracelet we made was a disaster, crumbly at a touch and so disappointing. The directions were brief and not helpful (20 min for 1/4"....not terribly clear for someone who's never done this before!) and we baked it for 20 minutes. Not good.

The second try went much better we formed the bracelet better and cooked it for 7 minutes only; it was perfect. There is a slight odor while baking, but not terribly unpleasant. The bracelets are a little more rigid than a store-bought one but held up nicely to gentle tugging and slipping on & off. Things we'll do differently next time: find a better way to attach the seams, smooth the edges (probably with a file after baking), use rubber stamps pre-baking to ensure straight & smooth letters.

Overall, I'd recommend this to others and will probably get it again.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my 8 year old niece. She has spent hours using it and enjoyed making the bracelets.

My kids had a lot of fun with these. They did have to have some help with making them and of course baking them. They all turned out but were still kind of soft so I baked them longer than suggested and they are still softish. Not sure if they are supposed to be hard after baking of not.
