I just recently took up sewing and have gotten hooked! I love creating all sorts of new things, and have spent a lot of time searching out the best tools to help me do so. I purchased this pen and pencil set and was disappointed with the product. The marking pen seemed almost dried out when I got it and after just a few uses the line was almost too faint to see. I still use it occasionally but only for small projects because if the pen is uncovered for too long it stops working. I don't mind the pencil but I feel like if that was all I wanted I could have got just that for a lot cheaper. Overall I was pretty disappointed with the purchase. To make matters worse the next week I was at the local craft store and the same product was $2 cheaper and then on sale. Keep your money and find another Pen.

I really love this pen. I haven't used the pencil much, but the pen is great. It writes very easily and I just spray it with water and it disappears. My favorite pen for sewing so far!

pencil works well, marker seems to be just about dried out, so i went to the store and purchased another one and it seems to have the same problem just not as bad. not sure if all the markers are like that or if its just my luck

I own multiple marking tools and among the pens I use, this one is the worst. While the tip is fine, the color is a VERY light blue-I expected a blue as dark as the cap, but it is more a light turquoise, which really renders the pen useless, unless you mark very light fabric.

The pencil cannot make up what the pen is lacking either. The tip wears off quickly and sharpening it is a pain. Mine will not sharpen evenly, so I am always stuck with one side having the wood come all the way up to the lead. Makes it literally useless.

I have a twin marking pen in purple from Dritz and it is much much better than this product.
