These brushes are perfect for a beginner, or a hobbyist. They're fairly priced and work well. I bought these as a gift for someone. I showed them to my dad (a master painter) and he said that they're OK, but that there are other brushes that he'd rather use.

So I'm not saying they suck, but just know that there are better tools out there, unfortunately, you'll have to spend the money.

Here's the actual description: #5 & #8 rounds, 1" flat, 1/2" angled, and #1 script for watercolor and acrylic (as the online description didn't match the picture). Very nice. Would have given 5 stars if not for the confusion

i have been working with the set, but the artist (teacher) has indicated that

a better brush would have been better for even a beginner.

We'll see as I think they work well for my experience in the medium.
