The Quilt Magic 12" x 12" Cat's Meow Kit comes with everything you need to make a quilt that doesn't require sewing. It comes with a foam board that has the design precut into it; an outline of the design with numbers so you know exactly where each fabric piece goes (sort of like a paint by number kits); pattern pieces to match the fabric to and cut out (the pattern pieces are also numbered to match the design you've been given). The fabric is also included and there is more than enough so there is no fear of running out. Finally, there are detailed instructions as well as a color picture that you can check to make sure your finished project will be perfect.
The Quilt Magic 12" x 12" Cat's Meow Kit is a quick easy project to make that looks really nice when it is done. I like the fact that no sewing is required I can sew but I'm not particularly good at it. While it does take some time to cut out the pattern pieces and fabric, it really is a quick project that could probably be done in an afternoon (I do it in little chunks of time as my hands start to hurt after a while from using the scissors). It is very easy to tuck the pieces of fabric into the foam board and if you do make a mistake it is easy enough to pull the pieces out and start over again. It is very easy to know which piece goes where having both the pieces of pattern and the design itself numbered helped a lot). The only difficult part of this kit was having to draw whiskers and complete the eyes on the cats but the kit comes with a stencil and detailed instructions so it really wasn't that hard at all.
The Quilt Magic 12" x 12" Cat's Meow Kit is a quick easy fun craft project.Shipping was really fast on this item, but the fabric included in the kit does not match what is pictured so the finished item does not look right.
