The quilt pattern that recommended this tool did not match the instructions. The tool itself is probably okay I have only used it once but the dresdens on the 2 inch marking (the pattern called for 14 dresden pieces) did not make a complete circle.

This tool helps to make your dresden plate quilt pieces fast and accurately. I had never made a dresden and with the included instructions I found it was a snap. I have several quilt designs in mind which will benefit from the use of this tool.

Looking forward to using this tool. I made two Dresden Plate blocks this fall but had to use a narrower template that had no markings for different size spokes, so twice I ended up with spokes that weren't the right size. Even with having a template that didn't work well I realized that I liked making Dresden Plate blocks, so look forward to using this template and the wooden 'iron' that came with it. The markings all you to make many different size Plates depending on the size quilt block that you want to make.
