Such a cute kit. Purchased for an 8 year old budding artist. She carries it everywhere. The pencils are more likely to splinter when sharpening than more expensive ones, but that's to be expected. And after 6 months of almost daily use, all pencils still are present and plenty long to continue being used.

I purchased this as a gift for my 9 year old cousin. I decided to have it gift wrapped for the holiday to help save me some time. I received it in a blue shoe box with a ribbon that was not cut and not secure. The inside was nothing but some poorly wrapped tissue paper. Looks like I'll just have to wrap it myself.I'm sure the set is great though.
