I purchased this set at the same time as the "Reeves Fine Oil Colours Sets set of 24" and found this set to be far inferior. The paint is thin with little pigment and a grit forms when certain colors are blended together. These are common complaints for cheap oil paints, but this is in comparison to Reeves paint selling at roughly the same price point. These 18 tubes are worth less than 12 tubes of Reeves and though the brushes are decent, I don't feel they justify buying this set.

I recently purchased this paint on Amazon. This is the first time I used this brand of oil color paint, and it is very workable. The paint has a very smooth texture and spreads evenly. The color does not lose its vibrance even when mixed with a medium. I choose the smaller set to test the quality of the product. It is a professional grade product, and I will certainly use it again.
