I don't buy gadgets. I would normally say, "Why pay someone else to collect items I already have!" This is the exception.

I bought one for my sister as a Christmas present a year ago. I used her's once on a recent trip we took and couldn't believe how much easier it was than my mix bag of stuff thrown together. Being able to have all your knitting essentials ready to go is priceless. Never wondering if you scissors are going to damage your knitting or pierce through your bag, or if you forgot a yarn needle is worth the cost.

I cannot get enough of this little kit. It has every must-have notion included and a little carry space to stick ones you might not already have. Crochet hook, scissors, stitch markers, needle stoppers, tape measure, thread snipper, stitch counter, and tapestry needle! All in a little hard plastic kit only a little bigger than my palm. I can't say how many times I've gone to someone's house with my knitting and gone, "Crap. I forgot the extra stitch markers I would need for the second half of this." Or, "Ugh, I was going to finish this piece here and give it to this person, but I have no tapestry needle to finish it."

The Knit Kit makes it simple, because rather than sitting there either making your own kit that would likely be far, far more messy and difficult to contain, all you do is grab the kit and go, and you know you've got basically everything you need for knitting. I can't recommend it enough. Quality plastic, excellent attention to detail, everything I want in a tool.

Very handy little set. It isn't going to have everything you need for every project, but it helps with most projects without having to carry around lots of little pieces. This set is very useful for travel. You can fly with these scissors b/c the blade is FFA approved.

I gave it only four stars because I am displeased with the counter. Mine has never worked right. The 10th digit sometimes advances, sometimes doesn't, and sometimes advances 2. I haven't seen anyone else with the same issue, so maybe I'm just that lucky! And my only other complaint is that I wish there was a place to put your name on it. When you get together with a group of ladies and a few of you have the same color, it get difficult to tell them apart!

I just said everything I know about this tool. I bought it for my wife and she carries it wherever her knitting takes her. She has given some as gifts. If you knit, it's a great tool....I think.

I have two of these and I just love them ... It is so easy to stick it in my knitting bag and I have all the essentials I need for the day. I have not had any trouble with mine everything works the way it should....the tape measure, the snips, and the crochet hook. Also the row counter works fine. I recommend this product and I am glad someone came up with this idea.
