First I have no experience with higher end markers, this was new for me a birthday present from my stepmom.
That said, these are beautiful. BUT. The tips are not what I was anticipating. The narrow tip was more like a paint brush (beautiful, just not what I thought). The broad tip was scratchy I expected it to be smooth.
But the colors are beautiful and they don't streak. I'll use the markers and enjoy them but I won't use them the way I anticipated.

Great markers and are refillable. If you are not familiar with using alcohol inks, you might want to watch a video or take a class, but these are a great buy as well.

I'm 14 and, I have made many manga and have been designing things for years. After researching these great markers for years, I got this set and got a ton more! Go Copic! (They also will take years to dry out) I only will say, these don't improve your art skills, that's what classes are for :)

This gift was a request from my 12 year old grandson. He likes to sketch characters from video games. Now that he is getting more serious about his art, he wanted good markers. Well worth the price, they are excellent!
