This tool is for punching a pattern of small holes in craft paper so that you can sew in thread to decorate cards and other projects. It does exactly what it says it will do. You need to use the pad that comes with it underneath the paper, otherwise the rolling heads will wear out fast, and your results won't be as good. The heads are plastic that will last a long time as long as you use the pad. I use this to accent scrapbook pages, cards and in other paper crafting projects. Practice on scrap paper first so you'll get an idea of how to keep a straight line, or get a curvy one if that's your thing. There are other heads available for the tool, including rolling stamp heads. This is NOT for fabric-only for paper. Stock up on embroidery floss, because this tool is so easy and fun to use that you'll be using it for all your paper crafting projects.
