The "Dreamz" interchangeable circulars seem to be by the same manufacturer as Knit-Picks' "Harmony", even down to the end caps and plastic pouch. The wood tips are super-smooth with a good longish taper to a very fine point. They screw into metal findings on extremely flexible cords and have an excellent, smooth join. Two things that don't impress me about "Harmony" needles are better in the "Dreamz". I don't care much for the purple cord and cap color, and the multi-color "Harmony" laminated wood, but the "Dreamz" are single-color, and the sizes are color-coded. Personally, I think the color-coding is redundant since the US size is engraved on the metal base of each needle and is also imprinted on the wood, but the colors are very pretty. The cords, caps, and size disks (for labelling a WIP that you took the tips off of for another project) are black in the "Dreamz" set. And yes, the disks come with the kit (they're a separate purchase from Knit Picks). SO the differences between the two kinds of needles are small, but the difference in price is, too. Go for which colors you like!

I've been using these needles for a few months now (bought from my lovely, local yarn store, of course), and they were such a good investment!
The needles knit like butter, they are SO smooth. The cords are super nice and easy to interchange. You can make pretty much anything you need with this set.
My only complaint is the lack of a 16" cord, but instead you can use magic loop, so it's really not even a problem.
I would recommend these to any knitter.

The first set I ordered had one needle with a rough edge that caught on the yarn. Thank goodness I used that needle first or I may not have known for a long time. I exchanged that set for a new one and every needle is perfect. The needle points are strongly tapered so it's easy to get even the tightest of stitches. The wood is so smooth that the stitches glide over it. I love these needles, but if you buy this set, I recommend that you check each needle carefully for rough spots.

I learned to knit about a year ago on a pair of bamboo 8's. I bought a couple of other bamboo sizes once I realized how much I enjoyed knitting, but I quickly learned that I'd need circular needles to make anything big, like an afghan witout seams. I started looking around the internet, but without seeing them in person I was reluctant to buy anything. Then, on a visit to a LYS here, I discovered they were having a 25% off all products sale. So, I bit the bullet and picked up this kit. It has been one of the best investments I've made in knitting. They are beautiful needles, and I like the color coding to keep them straight. I have some of the Harmony needles too, which fit these cables. They are beautiful, but I have to use a size checker on them to figure out which is which, as they aren't marked visibly. I've made many projects with these, and have invested in extra cables, including the 60", which I found invaluable while making an afghan for my nephew. I have also bought the chunky set, with the 3 sizes above what you get in this kit. I had just one problem with one of the size 10 needles not fitting on any cable; it was replaced via my LYS where I bought the set. Overall very, very happy with these needles. I now almost never knit anything with straight needles, even simple scarves. I just started in on 4 scarves for my nieces; they will be identical except for color order, to prevent fighting. I can swap my needles to another cable and thus make the base part for all four at the same time; that way I can memorize that part of the pattern easily and then switch to the next part on all 4 at once. This saves me a lot of memorizing/forgetting/rememorizing. So, would I recommend them? Yes. They are wood, which I prefer and beautiful. Any complaints? Not really. I've had no true problems except with the one needle which was quickly replaced.

I've had these needles for some time now and I love them. I took up knitting again last year after years of crocheting everything and bought straight needles because that's what I used to work with, but they were terrible for my wrists. A knitting friend of mine suggested that I buy circular needles and use them for everything. After shopping around and listening to a ton of recommendations, I settled on these and I'm glad I did. These have made my knitting life so much easier. I use them for everything. My wrists feel so much better and I love knitting now. The needles themselves are very smooth and I love the feel of them. I haven't had any problems with the connector falling off. Seriously, I love these. I recommend them to everyone, and I'm saving up for the jumbo size set.
