I dont quite think these are 1/2 an inch but they will do the job as noses on my sock puppets. I would say 1/3 of an inch . Careful not to pull the string if any has hanging because they will lose the circle and become a ball of fuzz.

Package appeared smaller than expected but i guess it has 100 in it (I have not used them yet). Plan on using them on my own home-made favors, nice white color, all perfectly shaped.

I use these for a yearly art project in my classroom, and they are a hit with the students. They are fluffier than their picture led me to believe they might be. It was a pleasant surprise.
