I just recieved this as a gift for my 16th birthday, my best friend and I are painstakingly serious about becoming professional manga artists. I had asked for this mainly because I though the templates would be helpful to getting used to speech bubbles, however the templates were much smaller than I expected and I'd say are even two small to use for what we specifically planned.

I dont mean to be a downer so now the up-side! The satchel itself is more than I had expected and I'm so excited to have a bag specifically for supplies. The pens are good quality and the sketchbook is larger than i thought. The previous comment about the templates may be a result of my inability to judge size.... :)

Overall though, I love this product :)

This bag for artists is everything I asked for and more. It helps perfectly in keeping all my drafts and pages organized. It is versatile, it looks fashionable, it has plenty of pockets for everything.

The pens and the 0.7mm mechanical pencil are of great quality, as well as the eraser and the ballpoint pen. The sketch book is a plus! For this price, you can't get any better with this ultimate combo for mangakas.

I found the balloon molds to be too primitive, those shapes aren't being used anymore, but I don't care since I put the balloons with Manga Studio.

All in all a great purchase!

Well when i first got it i thought that the bag was amazing! theres so many places to put stuff. Its perfect for any artist to have on the go!. the pens and stuff are very good, i liked them :) they even came with a cute little Folding case. The Sketch book was also a surprise to me. i thought it would have been smaller but im quiet happy, im actually to nervous to use it cause i dont want to wreck it ahahah!!. the Templates though... they are far too small in my opinion. Usually you would need something about A4 size for templates. but at least it gives you an idea to draw from cause you dont necessarily have to trace them. The whole package is really amazing, its PERFECT for a beginner(its perfect for anyone), im no beginner but i had to try it out. I'll deffinatly be tellign my friends about this. i would recommend this to anyone who is an artist :)

I'm an artist, and when I ordered the bag for my 15-year-old son over the holidays, I was afraid that it wouldn't be durable. I was wrong! It is extremely durable.

My son loves the bag because he can now carry his sketch books (up to 4 regular sized ones) along with ALL of his pencils, pens, markers, etc! He can now easily find things which is one of the things he likes most. He constantly searched for items in his old bag because there wasn't a place for everything.

This bag has just enough compartments, pockets and other sections where he can put things...and find them later! It's very well made and extremely durable. Something of this quality would usually cost (at the art supply store) at a minimum twice as much as this bag costs. As an artist, I spend much more on artist supplies (such as bags) if I want something of this quality.

There are items that come with the bag, but they are insignificant when it comes to the functionality and durability of the bag itself. (There are other reviews on the items, if anyone needs to know more about them.) My son didn't care about or use those items since he develops his own templates and has his own drawing tools.

Finally, if you're tall, no worries!!! The strap is nice and long! ...too long for the average to shorter person...if I must point out something so insignificant...just to have something "negative" to say!
