We had a nice little decorative clock that stopped keeping time (yes, of course I tried changing the battery). I replaced the original clock movement with this one and it worked perfectly. The only slightly negative about this clock movement for my application is that it is made for a fairly thick clock body but my clock body was thin. I had to space out the movement in the back with a thick spacer. This was not a big issue, and if you are mounting this in a wooden board, the spacing would probably be just right for you.
Note: There is no second hand I wish it had one.

Arrived sooner than expected and all in one piece. At first I was concerned that the hands were missing. E-mailed the vendor and was advised hands were taped to box flap so they wouldn't bend.
