I haven't put this pen through long term testing, but it has worked wonderfully on a first trial. I bought the Ranger Inkessentials white ink pens because the book Totally Tangled recommended them and I'm usually very happy with Ranger products, but I was very disappointed. The Sakura Gelly Roll white pen is vastly superior writes smoothly with opaque coverage. I have a Sanford Uni-Ball Gel Impact Pen in white on order that has very positive reviews; can't wait to see how it performs compared to the Sakura.

Having been struggling with a Pentel Sunburst pen for several months I'm so relieved to find a white gel pen that works so much better. I use white ink pens to add details and embellishments to my watercolor and acrylic ink paintings and these are perfect. They worked straight out of the packaging without me having to shake them and scribble endlessly to encourage ink flow. They even work on canvas and textured papers, which is a huge plus! And you can't beat the price.

I ordered all of the white pens currently offered on Amazon. These pens look cheap, but are actually so much better than the others. I tested them all side by side. If you want a crisp white lineget these first. They are the best at blocking out any color underneath.

These pens work great when I used them on my drawings. They work especially well where I have a lot of black ink and need just a touch of white to provide a little bit of detail.

I bought these for a very specific purpose: I create handmade ornaments, and had a request for teacher gifts that had the names of the students on the ornaments. I used these pens to write on wood shapes that were painted with acrylic paint. I bought black pens as well, which write much more smoothly on the surface.

If you do use these for a similar purpose, do NOT use a brush on sealer, because they will smear even after drying overnight. Otherwise, I have no complaints.
