Yes, the cover art is great. But the notebooks are not squared as advertised. They are plain. It was a very disappointing moment for me.

The cover is what makes this notebook so great!! While others have criticized the cover on this notebook/sketchbook for its lightweight nature, I applaud it. It is NOT as lightweight as the pages within, but lightweight enough to be folded back, which makes it really comfortable to use on your lap or when you don't have room to lay it open. I am always critical of stiff bindings (that often accompany stiffer covers) because they don't allow you to do that. Also, the cover has been coated to make it smooth to the touch (not glossy), which also makes it hold up to the aforementioned folding back another thing the stiffer, non-coated covers don't do as well. The size is also great for anything from journaling to technical sketching to you name it. And of course it has the signature Moleskin paper. I am ordering more. I was thrilled to find this notebook and have searched for it online because I love the flexibility this cover offers. I just wish I could find them more easily locally. If you like to use your notebook in the field (or just on the couch!) order this!!

While it was a nice size, this version of the larger 'skine has a very very flimsy and glossy cover. is about the same weight of the paper inside, perhaps only a bit heavier b/c of the printing done. NOT at all worth the cost. Hunt up the Kraft version.
