The squares are clear so you can see clearly through them, the quarter-inch seam allowances are frosted, and they cling slightly to the fabric being cut to minimize errors. I'm so glad I splurged and treated myself to this set!

These are wonderful. Tough, durable, CLEAR templates for using in quilting. I love these. They come with several sizes for a very versatile use when making a block with a specific motif. You can lay these templates over the design and see what you are going to see in the quilt. Every quilter should have these as a "staple".
