Devcon 5 minute epoxy is excellent. I used it for years at various hi-tech companies in Silicon Valley, California, as an engineer. It starts to harden at about 4 minutes. You want parts stable in 3 to 4 minutes. Clamping is preferred, but even holding parts stable with the fingers works well. This epoxy will fill some space between mating parts, where most "crazy" glues don't. Finger pressure can be released after 6 or 7 minutes. This all assumes a room temperature of about 72 degrees. Colder rooms (like 65) increases times about 20%, hot rooms (80 degrees) decreases about 20%. Prices at Amazon a little higher than some others, but worth it.

This glue dried clear and hard. It was easy to mix and easy to use. It hardened a little more quickly than epoxy usually does so the time I had to move the parts glued was shorter. It does not have a yellowish color when completely dried. Be careful with the fumes!!

I buy other brands, but I've had problems with one part hardening or discoloring or leaky bottles, never with DevCon, I've bought dozens of these through the years. Always happy. Wood, plastic, if you need to glue it, this will do it.

I needed a glue that I could use on a 1920 porcelain sink and this was perfect. More expensive but I had no worries about any yellow showing from the conventional epoxy's.
