I was looking for some cheap crochet hooks, and this one seemed to fit the bill. I was a little worried, as some of the reviews were a little disappointing, but I love these needles.

There are no defects that I can see, and they have a nice weight to them without being heavy. I have a set of Boyle (only 5 pieces) and I honestly can't tell the difference when using them.

I have two small issues, so small I don't think they warrant a missing star. First, they only have the mm size, not the American standard, arbitrary number system, which can make it annoying to use with some patterns (although my gauge is usually off theirs). The other thing is the case smells like cheap plastic if it gets warm (such as when I left it in my car). The case is really nice, a beautiful purple, with room for a few more needles.

Bottom line: I absolutely adore this set

I love it, great set for beginners and I like that it has a case I have started it a blanket and it works very well it was inexpensive so that was a plus.

This is a nice set, but the 'hook' portion of the hook is shallow, with not much room for yarn to nest in while working. I'm used to Susan Bates brand hooks, which have deep seats for yarn. I also would have preferred a more neutral case color.

My set came with two 6.0mm hooks and was missing the 6.5mm hook. I contacted the seller who promised to send me a replacement, but after multiple emails and a few months I've yet to receive my replacement hook.

I love them! Very cute carrying case, very reasonable price for price. Did take a while to get here but it was worth it.
