its very nice, and held together well, but i didn't realize it came with 3 canvas that had a scene on it.They were all the same, but i wanted plain.

the box is wood and will last a long time. It is the kind of thing your child will find many years later and remember fondly. The paints are in tubes like an advanced art set, but the canvasses have outlines to assist a beginning painter.

The kit also has a decent assortment of brushes. A lot of the kits only have one or two brushes, so this kit excels there too. So if you are looking for an affordable kit that prepares your child for becoming an artist this is a great kit.

Now all we need is talent and hard work.
