I'm not a big scrap-booking/crafts kind of person, but I needed some big letters to label some gifts for friends so I gave these a try. They worked perfectly for my needs.
The capital letters are about 1.5" tall with the lower case letters coming in at just under an inch. The pictures here on amazon.com don't to the glittery gold color justice. These suckers sparkle. And even better, unless you really rub on them, the sparkles stay put.
They are made of a stiff, inflexible cardboard that is quite sturdy but will snap in half if you try to bend it. To that end, don't buy these expecting a flexible letter. But it does add to their durability. They feel like a really well-made product.
The adhesive on the back of the letters is very tacky. I suspect that it would stick quite well to most surfaces. I used the letters to label some velvety bags (that contained the gifts). I was worried that the letters wouldn't stick to the bags, as tape and other adhesives don't take very well to that kind of cloth. However, these letters stuck like a champ!
Overall I was very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend these letters to anyone looking for big, durable lettering.
