What I like most about Le Plume II is the unique colors they produce. They offer shades of colors that I cannot find anywhere else. I use them for coloring books, so I cannot say how they work on rubber stamps, but in coloring books, the color is smooth as well as easy to blend because of the slow drying time.

One thing I was disappointed by was the extra fine end of these double-ended markers. While it might work fine for rubber stamps, I don't know, but the extra fine end doesn't seem to want to "color" smoothly on a page, even on a small area. However, the brush end actually comes to a pretty fine point, so it ended up not being a huge problem for me personally. Still kinda disappointing that I can only use one end of my double-ended markers!

Overall These markers make me very happy because they offer shades of colors that I have never had before, particularly very light colors with this Pastel set.

Warning If you own another set of Le Plume II markers, beware that they duplicate some colors from set to set. For example Pale Pink is in both the Pastel set and the Basic set. If you buy more than one set, chances are you will have some duplicate markers.

Before I got this set of 12 markers, I bought a set of 100 of another brand for about the same price. What a mistake! While I got more colors, those off-brand markers left blobs of color every time I ended a coloring stroke. That didn't work so well for the stained glass type of coloring books I was playing around with. I'm happy to report that these are perfect for that activity. No blobs, and no streaks of darker color, unless I make the marker do that intentionally.

The colors in this package include: #22 lemon yellow; #30 rosewood; #34 pale green; #41 blue grey; #47 pale pink; #57 rose pink; #60 salvia blue; #62 wisteria; #66 dusty pink; #67 bubble gum pink; #68 daffodil yellow; and #70 peppermint.

I'm finding the brush end much more useful, but if I wanted to create journal entries with different colors of ink, I think the extra-fine tip would be great. It's a VERY fine point. All in all, well worth the expense.

I've purchased two new sets from two different sellers and in both cases the fine tips are too fine to allow ink to flow properly or the ink doesn't flow at all. Poor engineering design on their part. Others have noticed this too. Also, some colors appear to be duplicates between different sets. Same problem for some colors in the Victorian set. Poor customer service you get a misdirected recording and then no call back.

I love these pens! Nice color variety. I use the fine tip and the brush tip about equally. My problem is I have 36 of them, and I want them ALL!

I love le plume markers and have never had a problem before but this particular set was very dry and scratchy on the fine end. Didn't expect that!! Are they just selling off really old stock? I think I'll stick to buying them in brick and mortar stores.
