Cheap Sterling Edwards Signature Series Brush Set with DVD
I'm slowly getting into watercolor and have fought the battle of cheap paint, cheap paper and cheap brushes. Aaaaarrrggghhh !! But that's how you learn. I had checked out a lot of different brush reviews and liked what I read about these brushes but the regular price was a little steep for me. When I found a deal for almost half price here on Amazon I snapped them up and I'm glad I did. I love them. Although I am a beginner. I could immediately tell the great quality compared to some other brushes I had bought and tried, and the blending and glazing brushes allow even me to get those distant trees and foreground grasses looking good. My wife is amazed at my progress ..... The DVD that comes with the brushes, is loaded with so much information, tips, and techniques that I have watched it over and over. To me it alone was worth the money I paid for the whole set. Funny thing, the more I watched and listened to Sterling Edwards, the more I realized he is a lot like me and that leads me to believe he is the kind of person that would never have his name on any product that wasn't top quality. I highly recommend this set ......Watercolor is hard to learn. Sterling really has a great 4 step plan. Having the same brushes he uses in the demos is really nice and they are great brushes.

List Price: $8.75

Lost all my crochet hooks and bought these as a replacement. Like handy holder because previously all my large size hooks were bought separately and I had problems keeping track of them. The large sized acrylic hooks are smooth, comfortable to hold, and easily glide through stitches which enables me to finish projects more quickly.
I am very pleased with them.

If you crochet and have arthritis, I highly suggest using this type of hook as it's light and very easy to handle. Now I just need them in the rest of the sizes!Best Deals for Susan Bates Red Heart Crystallites Acrylic Crochet Hook Set, Size
if you have any type of cream on hands it reacts with plastic and becomes sticky and does not loose stickinessHonest reviews on Susan Bates Red Heart Crystallites Acrylic Crochet Hook Set, Size
These hooks are pretty and thats about all they have going for them. I crochet a lot! And these have to be the worse hooks ive ever bought. They do not glide well at all and they stink for long projects! Id recommend bamboo hooks or aluminumFind helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Susan Bates Red Heart Crystallites Acrylic Crochet Hook Set, Size
These are comfortable and really help me see the yarn better. The contrast in the color of the hook from the yarn makes it easier to see the stitches. They are comfortable to hold and the yarn doesn't slip like it does on some others I have used.I am very pleased with them.

These won't write at all on a micro-fiber type fabric. I was expecting a more paint-like marking (complete coverage, deep color), these things are more like a hi-liter. Probably works A-ok on white cotton, wouldn't get them for anything else.I bought these for a baby shower I was throwing. I had everyone put a design on a onesie. The onesies have been washed a lot since the shower, and the colors are holding up.

These are just the right size to stamp an image where you want two colors in two different areas of a stamp. I've had a blast playing around with them. And with the shape of the stamp pads you can create flowers and other designs using the pads themselves. I wish I could find refills for them.

These pens do stay moist long enough to apply several colors to a stamp and then make a good impression or two, and the brush tips apply the ink very efficiently when used sideways. That's clearly their main virtue. The fine-tipped end is great for repair and touch-up work in matching hues (though of course the colors tend to write with a bit more saturation than the stamped impression).
However, with several of these markers, the fine tip simply dropped out the first time I uncapped that end -complete with the tiny attached quill that draws ink from the reservoir sponge into the tip. I'll be looking for some way to glue the tips on. So, beware, especially if you have younger kids using the pens, or babies crawling on a rug below, or otherwise not-so-contained workspace.
The included plastic case is an "almost-but-not-quite" solution for holding them. It pops open easily when the set falls, and even came apart in the mail before they arrived. But even if you discard the plastic, keep the card with the color index. The caps aren't necessarily a perfect guide to color, but the included card offers an overview of all 108 colors, and each marker specifies its color number clearly.
Be sure, of course, to have a good stamp cleaning blotter or applicator bottle, so that light-colored stamp marker pens aren't discolored by contact with darker ink residues.
I also use these markers to color in coloring books for adults (images with very small pieces to color, as well as some larger areas). They are phenomenal at controlling where the ink goes when working in tight spaces, and I love the "brush" feel of the large end, which allows you to color at an angle, where you can cover maximum page space as you brush the color of the marker over a large surface. Yet, if you need a medium-point tip, you can use the end of the brush marker, and you get that, too.
In comparing various dual-tipped markers made by various companies, I found these to be just as good as some of the much more pricey markers. I've also had good experience with these markers lasting a LONG time, which is great as I hate it when markers dry out right away! Hope you enjoy 'em!
Thank you Uchida

These blazer buttons are OK but are nothing special and they are "very" overpriced. Go to the buttons section of your local fabric store and you'll probably find something very similar for a lot less.

What I like most about Le Plume II is the unique colors they produce. They offer shades of colors that I cannot find anywhere else. I use them for coloring books, so I cannot say how they work on rubber stamps, but in coloring books, the color is smooth as well as easy to blend because of the slow drying time.
One thing I was disappointed by was the extra fine end of these double-ended markers. While it might work fine for rubber stamps, I don't know, but the extra fine end doesn't seem to want to "color" smoothly on a page, even on a small area. However, the brush end actually comes to a pretty fine point, so it ended up not being a huge problem for me personally. Still kinda disappointing that I can only use one end of my double-ended markers!
Overall These markers make me very happy because they offer shades of colors that I have never had before, particularly very light colors with this Pastel set.
Warning If you own another set of Le Plume II markers, beware that they duplicate some colors from set to set. For example Pale Pink is in both the Pastel set and the Basic set. If you buy more than one set, chances are you will have some duplicate markers.
The colors in this package include: #22 lemon yellow; #30 rosewood; #34 pale green; #41 blue grey; #47 pale pink; #57 rose pink; #60 salvia blue; #62 wisteria; #66 dusty pink; #67 bubble gum pink; #68 daffodil yellow; and #70 peppermint.
I'm finding the brush end much more useful, but if I wanted to create journal entries with different colors of ink, I think the extra-fine tip would be great. It's a VERY fine point. All in all, well worth the expense.

Before I got this set of 12 markers, I bought a set of 100 of another brand for about the same price. What a mistake! While I got more colors, those off-brand markers left blobs of color every time I ended a coloring stroke. That didn't work so well for the stained glass type of coloring books I was playing around with. I'm happy to report that these are perfect for that activity. No blobs, and no streaks of darker color, unless I make the marker do that intentionally. The colors in this package include: #22 lemon yellow; #30 rosewood; #34 pale green; #41 blue grey; #47 pale pink; #57 rose pink; #60 salvia blue; #62 wisteria; #66 dusty pink; #67 bubble gum pink; #68 daffodil yellow; and #70 peppermint.

I've purchased two new sets from two different sellers and in both cases the fine tips are too fine to allow ink to flow properly or the ink doesn't flow at all. Poor engineering design on their part. Others have noticed this too. Also, some colors appear to be duplicates between different sets. Same problem for some colors in the Victorian set. Poor customer service you get a misdirected recording and then no call back.Honest reviews on Uchida 1122-12B Le Plume II Double-Ended Markers with Brush
