The best thing about these scissors is the price: currently under seven dollars, for two pairs. Definitely not performance or precision scissors, they're about 75% recycled plastic (including the hinges) that does not fit together as well as other, better materials. The other 25% is the short stainless steel blades, not perfectly aligned (warped), with reasonably sharp edges, but a dull, 'dirty' finish. The 'titanium coating' is... questionable (no details given, and every other coating I've come across is slightly gold in color). One pair even had a bunch of 'stuff' on it, especially in the hinges, which will not totally wash off and could be the 'titanium coating' improperly applied. Larger pair is awkward, won't quite allow two fingers in grip for better control. Did I mention that you get two pairs of scissors for under seven dollars, though? Meh. I'm not impressed, Fiskars.

Bought these from mariester for $5 + $4.99 shipping, $9.99 billed price. They had been on my wish list priced considerable higher. Bought them after being notified since it was their last pair would get a sale price. Primarily used them so far to cut trimstyle a long haired dog every two to three weeks for about 30 minutes of usage at a time. So far very impressed. They seem to be a bit sharper than the standard Fiskar scissors was used to. Comfortable handles even when using them for over 30 minutes and my fingers are a bit plump. My regular Fiskar scissors have lasted over a decade of similar usage and still are near new condition. I still need more information to be convinced titanium scissors are so much better cause they are priced about the same as regular Fiskar scissors at the local big box craft store. Hoping this new technology won't let me down.
