These are the best watercolor pencils I have used. They go on soft and creamy and look lovely when water is added. I just wish the color was printer on the pencil. I have to keep looking at the chart. But the quality is fantastic.

I am new to watercolor pencils and have been experimenting with different brands. I use them with rubber stamp impressions. The Staedtler brand has recently been improved and I do notice a difference compared to the set I bought several years ago. The set offers a good selection of rich and vibrant colors. They mix together well and don't leave a waxy residue on your work. The true magic happens when you add water. I have tried the suggested techniques on how to use the pencils and I have been very happy with the results. Give these pencils a try and you won't be disappointed.

They're terrific because they actually work. I used an unknown brand before, and they did not work like watercolor pencils are supposed to work.
