This set of 4 brushes is perfect for fine detail work or for signing your artwork. Surprisingly sturdy for such a delicate brush, they hold paint well. I shared one with a fellow artist and I received some very flattering comments on the brush. They also clean up nicely with standard turpenoid and although they are long in comparison with their girth, they accept some pressure. I use oil paint and do not know what the experience would be for someone using acrylics or watercolor but since they do well with oil paint, I would think that they would also hold up for those that use other mediums to paint.

They are great for fine line (gong bi) Chinese drawing. The quality is good. And the brushes looks so cute.

These brushes are great for outlining, fine detail, and small scale sumi-e or calligraphy. Do not use these with anything, anything but water and water based paints, inks, etc. never use turpentine, terpenoids, water ONLY. Glue holds the bristles in, nothing more.
Great value, interesting calligraphy carved into the brushes, bha is a great brand.

I did not like these brushes. I believed that they could hold a point , instead they were unable to keed a thin narrow line for details and signature

I like the tiniest detail brush. I actually bought the whole pack hoping they all would be as tiny, but the other brushes I don't care for, too thick for me.
